Teenager Liam Thomson-Whyte from Pulham St Mary has won a place in the finals of the Football Content Awards. In the category ‘Best Young Content Creator’ to be held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November.

36,000 nominations were whittled down to just 300 finalists. “I can’t actually believe I’ve got this far. Especially for something as big as this!” he said. “I don’t have a budget for any of my vlogging so it all comes out of my own pocket. It’s great to be finally recognised for my efforts. I really appreciate everyone who has voted for me. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to go to the finals as hopefully I’ll get to see my favourite team, Norwich City, there too.”

Liam, 14, attends Harleston Sancroft Academy and started his YouTube channel Travelling TW nearly two years ago and has over 1,500 subscribers. In between playing for Wroxham Under Fifteens, Liam vlogs Norwich City matches as well as many non-league teams too such as Harleston, King’s Lynn and Lowestoft.

Liam's viewers appreciate how his coverage fills them in on the club's history and team facts and he also gets the views of club representatives and fans. That might have caught the judges' eye too.

Thanks to all who voted for him. We will make sure we post some pictures of the finals night, November 21st from the Spurs ground in London. Voting is now closed so look out for updates nearer the time and good luck to the Pulham St Mary soccer vlogger.
