Blickling will be celebrating Christmas throughout the estate to help kick-start the festive season. They will have 50 Christmas trees around the house and garden and 19,000 lights for you to enjoy. To make the most of the beautiful tree lined drive, they are also open late. Festive treats for foodies, gifts for garden lovers, and a whole range of toys, games and books, while there is also festive gifts local artists from Norfolk Craft Guild in the Loft Gallery (Fri-Sat), featuring a variety of pottery, sculptures, textiles, jewellery and stained glass, perfect for Christmas gifts.

• Christmas Market

The ninth annual massive festive market at Burnham Deepdale with over 120 stalls in three marquees offering presents, decorations, food and drink from artisans and producers, plus at nearby St Mary's Church, with festive activities and entertainment throughout the weekend.

• Enchanted Felbrigg

An outdoor seasonal experience for all the family at Felbrigg. Follow a winter trail through the gardens and enchanted woodland. Enjoy the opportunity to unwind, surrounded by nature in all its winter glory. On your journey, you'll be able to enjoy music, crafts, and tasty winter treats.

• Christmas Craft Fayre

Lighthouse, Cromer Road, Sheringham, December 2, 10am-1.30pm, admission free, lighthousesheringham.org

Christmas fair full of festive activities and stalls including hand-crafted gifts and jewellery, seasonal sweets and treats, Christmas cakes and puddings as well as Christmas floristry and wreaths. You can also see Father Christmas.

• Wynterfest

This year Wymondham's seasonal event is again named Wynterfest. Loads to see and do with street fairs, carols, a candle-lit procession, reindeer, music, entertainment and of course Father Christmas will be making a guest appearance!

• Magical Christmas Market

Christmas cheer as Woodforde's Norfolk Ales opens its doors on for a weekend of beer and wine tastings, brewery tours and Christmas gift inspiration. Sample the festive brew Tinsel Toes and its famous NOG Christmas puddings. In addition, the Christmas market stalls will also showcase some of the region's finest produce from cured meats to wines, chutneys to cheeses and a variety of different foods from an abundance of local producers. Local choirs will be carol singing to get everyone in the festive mood.

• Christmas Craft Market

Hindolveston Village Hall will be transformed into a Christmas Craft Market full of irresistible gifts. All the beautiful crafts are hand made in Hindolveston, or nearby, by a very talented group of people. The work for sale will include modern textiles, pottery, leatherwork, rope work, knitwear, willow work, stained glass and wood turning. Refreshments, including delicious home made cakes and Brays award winning pork pies, will be for sale on Sunday. Mince pies, mulled wine and live music will help create a lovely festive atmosphere on Saturday evening.

• Bungay Christmas Street Fair

Popular annual Christmas market in the streets of Bungay. Over 100 stalls will be selling a wide selection of goods making this a great place to pick up gifts. Father Christmas will be in his grotto, seasonal music, entertainment and food and drink for all tastes. Christmas trees, festival wreaths, gifts and festive food, as well as being a great place to just soak up the Yuletide atmosphere. Loads of Christmas entertainment for kids and hot mulled wine for the grown ups.

• Norwich Makers Christmas Market

Norwich Makers Market team up with Etsy for this special Christmas event at the Assembly House. Illustration, homewares, jewellery, ceramics, clothing, art, design, stationery and vegan delights too. A host of talented designers, makers and bakers will surely make for perfect for Christmas shopping.
