Norwich City will travel to Selhurst Park for a Carabao Cup second round meeting with Crystal Palace on Tuesday, August 27, the EFL have confirmed.

The game will kick off at 8pm alongside only Birmingham City's clash with Fulham, which has been selected for Sky Sports TV coverage.

All other Carabao Cup fixtures on the night are scheduled for 7:45pm, with a host of games including Ipswich Town's trip to Wimbledon taking place the following evening.

The Canaries are set for a busy final week of August, making the journey to South London just three days after facing Sheffield United at Carrow Road.

The transfer window shuts the following Friday, August 30, before City play Coventry at the CBS Arena on the 31st.

They were 3-0 losers last time they played at Selhurst Park, drawing 1-1 with Palace when the clubs met in February 2022. Palace are currently 13th in the Premier League, having started their top-flight campaign with a 2-1 loss to Brentford.
