Mikie-Webber Kane maintained his unbeaten record at the weekend – but lost his Southern Area super-featherweight title.
The Great Yarmouth boxer drew with challenger Frank Arnold at the 02 on Saturday night, but had failed to make the weight at Friday’s weigh-in, which means the title is now vacant.
Webber-Kane was dominant in the opening rounds and had his opponent on the canvas, but Arnold fought back. Webber-Kane also went down, but was rarely in serious trouble and mounted another challenge with a dominant final two rounds before referee Chris Jones scored it 94-94.
