David Wagner says being the away side is no certain disadvantage for Norwich City in the second leg of their play-off semi-final.
The Canaries travel to Elland Road hoping to secure passage to the Wembley final on Thursday, having drawn 0-0 with Leeds United on their own patch.
Many supporters have viewed that as a negative given City's poor away record and Leeds' impressive form in LS11, but Wagner says it doesn't have to be.
His Huddersfield Town side came through a trip to Sheffield Wednesday in 2017 having drawn the first leg 0-0, and the German hopes he can replicate the outcome with Norwich.
"I experienced that it does not automatically have to be an advantage to play the second leg at home," he recalled. "The expectation is great, the pressure is big as well.
"We have our idea, we know what to do to be super competitive again, and hopefully we will execute it very well on Thursday.
"I'm absolutely fine with what I've seen (in the first leg). Yes, I would have loved to win the game, but I've seen enough that I can go into the second leg with belief and confidence, especially with this group of players.
"This is exactly what we wanted to have, and this is what we got."
Leeds finished 17 points ahead of Norwich over the course of the season, but one of the advantages the latter have over Daniel Farke's side is the experience in their ranks.
Wagner knows that will be an important factor going into Thursday's game, but says it's not all that counts.
"Experience helps for sure," he continued. "But you have to be fully fit, fully focused and committed as well.
"This is exactly what all the players are, not just today but the whole season. Not just the experienced players, the whole squad.
"This is one of our super-strengths. This is what they've shown, and this is why we were able to keep Leeds United and their very, very good offensive individuals quiet. This was the first step."
