Alex Roberts netted his first goal for Norwich City U21s in their 2-0 victory over 10-men Leeds United.
The Welsh youth international came off the bench to open the scoring before Elliot Myles netted late on to secure their first victory in seven Premier League Two matches.
Joe Duffy's early injury forced Norwich into an early change, with 18-year-old Roberts replacing him inside the opening 10 minutes of the clash at the LNER Community Stadium.
It took just 13 minutes for Roberts to open his account at under-21 level, latching onto a cross from Marcel McIntosh to give Alan Neilson's side the lead.
Norwich ended the first half on top, with Uriah Djedje forcing a save out of Leeds keeper Dani van den Heuvel and Errol Mundle-Smith curling a shot just wide of the post.
Leeds were reduced to ten men in the second period when defender Ruben Lopata-White picked up his second booking.
City tested Leeds keeper Van Den Heuvel with efforts from Dubem Eze and Myles as they pushed for the second.
That winning goal came in second-half stoppage time when Gabe Forsyth crossed for Myles to secure the three points. Both of the Canaries' scorers started the campaign in the under-18s.
Duo Finley Welch and Ken Aboh were missing again as they prepare for Norwich's Championship clash against Rotherham United on Saturday. Guilherme Montoia, Pedro Lima and Caleb Ansen were all missing through injury.
Norwich return to Norfolk Senior Cup action on Monday when they face King's Lynn Town's youngsters at the Walks.
