Following a 3pm inspection at Fakenham racecourse on Saturday, a decision was made to abandon the planned Sky Bet Sunday raceday.
There was still considerable frost in the ground when the inspection took place and no chance of that situation improving to enable racing to go ahead.
It was disappointing for the course with its two planned feature races, worth £30,000 and £25,000, due to be shown live on television on ITV3.
The next scheduled meeting at Fakenham is on Friday, February 16.
The final day of Lingfield’s Winter Million Festival on Sunday is expected to go ahead as planned, although it will be subject to an 8am precautionary inspection on raceday.
The three-day fixture was due to begin with a jumps card on Friday, but a frozen track saw that cancelled. Saturday’s middle day on the all-weather had no issues.
