Christos Tzolis starts for the first time since returning to Norwich City from FC Twente as the Canaries face Stoke City this afternoon.

Teemu Pukki also returns to the line-up after being dropped for Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Huddersfield, as Marquinhos and the injured Adam Idah drop out of David Wagner's XI.

Idah was withdrawn in the first half of that draw, but has been named in the Republic of Ireland's squad for their upcoming international games.

Ben Gibson was also withdrawn midway through the game, but starts ahead of Andrew Omobamidele. Marquinhos' red card against the Terriers was overturned yesterday and he makes the bench.

Onel Hernandez is once again absent. He'll see a specialist about an ankle injury sustained in last weekend's loss to Sunderland, but a timeline on his recovery is as yet unavailable.

Kieran Dowell will be unavailable until late April after sustaining a knee injury in last month’s win over Birmingham, Wagner confirmed in a recent press conference.

Przemyslaw Placheta (shin) is also unavailable long-term, with Newcastle United loanee Isaac Hayden out until the very late stages of the season after a knee operation.

Wagner refused to put a timeline on Sam Byram’s return, as he recovers from a long-term hamstring injury. Young winger Jonathan Rowe suffered his third injury of the season playing for City's under-21s, with his hamstring issue ruling him out.

Rowe's former academy team-mate Abu Kamara is in the matchday squad for an injury-hit Norwich side, after Wagner confirmed young players would be called up in midweek.
