Gary Setchell is not panicking, despite being without three key players as fifth host fourth at The Walks.

The King's Lynn Town boss will be unable to select suspended trio Steve Spriggs, Jake Jones and Jackson Ramm for the visit of Curzon Ashton. However, having seen off higher-level Hednesford United in the FA Cup earlier this term while missing four senior players, Setchell is refusing to get weighed down by an Evo-Stik Premier Division numbers game.

Lynn's manager said: 'We've got a massive game, with three players down, which is really disappointing.

'To lose my two widemen (Spriggs and Jones) who are in decent form and obviously Jackson Ramm, who is in decent form, is a real blow for us. But we'll get on with it. We were in adversity against Hednesford, (David Bell) Belly's available on Saturday – so that's a plus point, so we'll go again.

'Curzon are flying. I know they finished 19 points above Ramsbottom last season. I know they play good football. I had them watched on Tuesday night. They haven't lost many in the league, although they've hit a little bit of a sticky spell.'

The Nash ran away with the Division One North title last term and have started excellently in the Northern Premier League's top-flight. But they have picked up just one point from their last four away matches while their Norfolk counterparts possess a fine home record which has seen them win eight of their 10 league matches.

A victory could move the Linnets up to third and Setchell admits it's going to be a pivotal month for his side – who also have another FA Trophy match to look forward to on November 15 after thumping Market Drayton Town in Tuesday night's Walks replay.

'We're in for some massive battles and tests in November,' said Setchell, who welcomes back frontman Michael Frew after he completed his one-game ban in midweek and midfielder Bell from his holiday.

'They're meaningful games, playing the teams in and around you. If you picked up a paper and looked at the league table you'd think; 'King's Lynn are going well'. We're in a good spot. We're fifth and we've got games in hand on teams above and below us – but we had some good fixtures in October, which we took full advantage of. Now we'll find out how good we really are in November. This is a massive month for us.'

Attacking midfielder George Thomson will be looking to keep up his red-hot streak which has seen him score in each of Lynn's last six matches. And Setchell is expecting another big performance from the goal machine's fellow in-form midfielder David Bridges.

'I think David is getting better and better.' said the manager who signed the 32-year-old in the summer.

'On Saturday he was very, very good and on Tuesday he was the player who reached his levels. He's going to be a real big player in the second half of the season for us, I know he is.'
