Snettisham moved to the top of Division One Cup Group A by beating Sandringham, writes Kevin Fisher.

The victors posted 126-6 with Jonathan Forder scoring 42, while Callum Lee took 4-35. Gary Raines took 3-32 and Damien Twiddy 3-33 as Sandringham, for whom James Banham top-scored with 39, were bowled out for 11. Robert Wilson (57), Paul Hudson (64 not out) and Mahesh Sannakki (37) helped Castle Rising amass an imposing 185-6. Roshan Samarathunga (4-17) and Mahesh Sannakki (3-16) restricted Heacham (Matthew Wright, 29) to 106-9.

In group B, Roy Bland scored 53 – which combined with a quick-fire 36 from Jonathan Storey – elevated Hockwold to 162-8. Denver's Dan Cornwell (4-27) took a triple-wicket maiden. Paul Morton scored 52 as Denver set about the run chase but Bland's 5-30 helped ensure new leaders Hockwold were the victors by nine runs. Matt Taylor scored 34 in Hillington's 106 all out. Jason Plumpton (36) and Ash Drohan (42no) saw Northwold to victory by seven wickets.

In group A of the Division Two Cup, Jason Fryett scored 36 and Nick Whales 25 as Castle Acre reached 125-9. AMBiT Projects man of the match Hamza Khan took 4-27 and top-scored with 24 in Hospital's reply of 99-8, in which Michael Edwards took 4-23. Holt won their second cup match without a ball being bowled as Downham B were unable to raise a team. With two wins each, Acre and Holt will face each other in the next match to decide who will go through to the final.

A stand of 61 from Kevin Bandy (29no) and Stuart Merritt (26no) helped Gooderstone reach 151-4. Narborough A (Matthew Steele 3-31 and 68) looked to be heading for victory before Mark Chalkley (4-41) helped his side win by five runs. Sandringham A (137-7, James Hearmon 32, Jamie Smith 3-19) dismissed Fakenham B for 100 (Paul Matthews 21, Oscar Campbell 3-42) after reaching 137-7.

In the Division Three Cup, Dersingham A beat Denver A (Group A) while Castle Rising A edged Swaffham A (Group B). In league action, Gayton extended their lead at the top of the table to 14 points by seeing off closest challengers Bircham A by 59 runs.
