Boss Stewart Larter will not turn his back on the youngsters who have done depleted Wroxham proud in recent weeks.
The Yachtsmen's struggles appear to be ending with a host of players set to return for today's Ryman League North trip to struggling Redbridge. Yet while he's pleased to have more bodies to choose from, Larter is refusing to forget the efforts of others.
'I'm really proud of the young lads. To put in a performance like they did and come so close last week (FA Trophy, 3-2 loss to Hastings), well I can't fault any of them for their effort,' said the Wroxham manager.
'The key thing is we've got a bit of experience coming back into the team and hopefully in another week's time, barring no more injuries, we'll be in an even stronger position. However, some of the younger lads have certainly done enough to stay in the team.
'Look at someone like Ollie Ebbage. He had a very difficult start at King's Lynn where we were 4-0 down in 35 minutes. We took him out of the firing line for a bit and put him back in the reserves as we weren't sure if it had knocked his confidence.
'But to perform the way he has after stepping back in has made a real big impression. He's also been coming back from university in Leeds to play which really does go a long way.'
Jackson Ramm, Jordan King, Nathan Stone and Seamus Kelleher are all available again this afternoon while injury victims Michael Sommerfield and Andy Howell are edging ever closer to a return.
'Three wins on the bounce, or two wins and a draw, can see you move right up the league,' said Larter, who is still without Jack Garrod for the trip to Essex.
'If you get on a run in this league you're going to go places. That's what we aim to start doing from this afternoon.'
