Boss Stewart Larter admits more off-the-pitch upheaval is the last thing struggling Wroxham needed.
Neil Jarvis become the Yachtsmen's second assistant to leave Trafford Park this season on Wednesday as he headed back to lower-level Fakenham Town. His departure comes as another blow for Larter, whose troubled side are without a win in 15 Ryman League North matches.
'I totally understand why Neil has gone back to Fakenham,' said the Wroxham manager on the departure of the October replacement for Cedric Anselin.
'I enjoyed working with him for the short time that I did but he's going home, for want of a better word. We'll give ourselves time to identify what we want to do before making a decision. There's a couple of names we're thinking about but we haven't made contact with anybody as of now.'
Player-coach Matt Halliday, an injury doubt, may partner Larter in the visiting dugout this afternoon when Wroxham travel to Haringey Borough. Jack Garrod, Nathan Stone and the still injured Danny Beaumont are unavailable.
Wroxham's boss said: 'Neil going is far from ideal and it's unsettling, more so for the players than me. I can dip into things an assistant would do and let Hallers (Halliday) do the warm up. In that sense, it's business as usual for me although it is nice to have somebody to bounce ideas off.
'I've never had a situation like this as a manager or a player. It's not been a great run. But we have had a number of draws against good sides and produced some comebacks to get points.
'We're under no illusions. This run is something we need to address and end quickly. The longer we go without a win the more it will affect the players' confidence.'
