Work will begin on Sunday January 22 to carry out carriageway resurfacing works on the A1151 Norwich Road at Wroxham.
The site will extend from Wroxham Bridge southwards for approximately 130 metres and during the resurfacing operations essential bridge maintenance works will also be carried out.
The work will be carried out between 7am and 7pm and will take one day to complete.
During the resurfacing works the road will be closed to all through traffic. A fully signed diversion via A1151 Norwich, A1042 Norwich Ring Road, B1150 Coltishall, B1354 Hoveton, A1151 Wroxham will be in place for the duration of the works. An alternative route for HGVs will be in place via B1150 North Walsham, A149 Dilham & A1151 Hoveton.
Access to businesses and properties within the limits of the works will be maintained from one end of the closure at any time but it is inevitable that there will be some disruption and Norfolk County Council has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.
The work which will cost £54,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
