Highways England has released its weekly list of roadworks that will be carried out across our region in the coming week.

It highlights all of the work happening on our trunk roads, including the A11, A12 and A47.

These are the ones to keep a eye out for:

? A11/A1075 Thetford Roundabout: resurfacing

Resurfacing of the A11/A1075 roundabout and replacement of chevrons signs will begin this week. A diversion route will be in place via the A134/A1066 roundabout, A1066, A140, A47/A140 interchange, and A47, back to the A11. The southbound diversion route is the same but in reverse

? A11 Thetford: bridge joint replacements.

Work to replace bridge deck expansion joint on the A11 bridge over the little Ouse near Thetford will begin this week overnight between 8pm to 6am. A diversion will be in place from the Norwich Road Roundabout towards Thetford, onto the A1066 at the next roundabout, returning to the A11 at the A134/A11 roundabout.

? A11 Norfolk and Suffolk: vegetation clearance

Overnight work to improve journeys by clearing vegetation along the A11 verges continues this week between Newmarket and Norwich for up to eight weeks. Lane closures will be in place past the section being worked on northbound or southbound overnight, between 8pm and 6am.

? A11 Barton Mills: barrier repairs

Work to replace the safety barrier on the northbound A11 at Barton Mills start this week. A single lane closure will be in place on northbound carriageway between 8pm and 6am during the work as well as a 24/7 temporary 40mph speed restriction.

? A11 Spooner Row to Besthorpe: carriageway repair and resurfacing works

Work to repair the southbound services slip road and resurface the southbound carriageway will take place this week. The southbound A11 will be closed between Spooner Row Interchange and Blackhorn Road in Attleborough between 8pm and 6am until Wednesday 13 December. A diversion will be in place.

? A11 Norfolk and Suffolk: barrier repairs

Permanent barrier repairs following accident damage will take place this week on the A11 along several sections of road in Norfolk and Suffolk. There will be single lane closures past the work sections from Monday to Friday overnight from 8pm to 6am.

? A12 Essex southbound: carriageway repairs

Work to repair the carriageway at various places along the southbound A12 between Copdock and the M25 junction will take place overnight this week. Single lane closures will be in place past the work sections from Monday to Friday overnight, from 8pm to 6am.

A47 Norwich southern bypass: resurfacing works

Work to resurface and repair sections the A47 Norwich southern bypass will be carried out from Thursday November 2 to Saturday November 4 between 8pm and 6am. There will be a full eastbound road closure of the A47 from A140 Ipswich Road Interchange to A1042 Postwick Interchange.

? A47 Acle Straight: surface repairs, markings and safety improvements

Work to repair the carriageway, renew markings and install safety improvements along the A47 carriageway between Acle roundabout and Vauxhall roundabout will take place between Friday November 3 and Wednesday November 22. A full closure of the A47 carriageway between the Acle roundabout and Vauxhall roundabout will be in place.

? A47 Guyhirn/Thorney: safety improvements

Work to complete safety improvements on the A47 between the Guyhirn roundabout and New Bridge Lane in Thorney continues weeknights only from 8pm to 6am until Tuesday 31 October. A weekend evening closure is also required on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October.

? A47 Norfolk: vegetation clearance

Work to improve journeys by clearing vegetation along the A47 verges continues this week between Acle and Lowestoft. Mobile lane closures will be in place past the section being worked on overnight, between 8pm and 6am, for up to three weeks, weather permitting.

? A47 King's Lynn, Norfolk: bridge repair works

Work to repair and replace joints on the Saddlebow bridge over the A47 at King's Lynn starts on Monday 23 October for approximately six months. Saddlebow bridge will be closed to vehicles during this time.

? A47 King's Lynn, Norfolk: carriageway repairs

Pothole repairs will take place overnight this week on the A47 around King's Lynn. Single lane closures will be in place past the work area from Monday to Friday overnight, from 8pm to 6am.

? A47 Norfolk: weed spraying

Weed spraying will take place along the A47 in Norfolk this week, with mobile lane closures in place past the area being worked on from Monday to Friday overnight from 8pm to 6am.

? A47 Norfolk: barrier repairs

? A47 Acle Roundabout to Beighton Road, Norfolk: resurfacing

Resurfacing work along the westbound A47 from Acle roundabout to Beighton Road is underway. Full closures are required weeknights only between 8pm and 6am until 2 November.
