The 19-year-old from Sprowston was picked at the last minute to do a 10 minute air guitar set in front of the crowds ahead of the Eels gig on Tuesday and described it as 'incredible.'

'It all felt like a bit of a dream. I'm a big fan of Eels, mainly because they had a song that was featured in Shrek,' said Jade who is the lead singer for heavy rock band Wicked Faith.

'Apparently the air guitarist who was meant to do it couldn't at the last minute so Wicked Faith was suggested and out of the band I stepped forward. You have to try everything once.'

She said she picked the songs for her set by doing 'eeny meeny miny moe,' and on the night performed to Steve Vai's The Audience Is Listening, Alice Cooper's Vengeance is Mine, and a power metal version of Can You Feel The Love Tonight from The Lion King.

'It was incredible. It was awesome. I would do it again any day. Playing the air guitar is something everyone does in their private time and I got to play the air guitar in front of a crowd of people. It was really awesome,' she said.

'Everyone was great and the vibe in the audience was fantastic.'
