There will be no Norwich Half Marathon this year after the event was moved to spring 2017.
It means the Trowse 10K, which is normally held in the spring, will be moved to a different date in 2017 so as not to clash with the event.
But the Norwich Half Marathon could clash with the Bungay Festival of Running which is held in April and the Wymondham 20-miler.
The Larking Gowen City of Norwich Half Marathon wrote on Facebook: 'Following the positive feedback after the successful return to a single lap route the main remaining risk and issue affecting the race was the adverse weather. The desire to address this coupled with availability of Showground dates in April has now made a move possible.
'There will therefore be no race this November, instead the next race will be 9th April 2017 and entries will open on 1st April 2016. We are also working on a new half marathon website and more details will be posted there shortly.
'We hope that this news will be welcome amongst the thousands of you who regularly run the race, who raise tens of thousands of pounds for charity each year and who - with us - have suffered some terrible weather conditions on race day in recent years.'
