Celebrity barrister Judge Rinder examined the case of Adele Bellis on his ITV show Crime Stories on Tuesday, May 22.
In 2014, at the age of 22, Miss Bellis was the victim of a horrific acid attack at a bus stop in Lowestoft, where she lost an ear.
The TV judge revisited her case during a 60 minute episode for the third series of his show, where he also looked at the story of Joanne Peacock who discovered her baby had sustained injuries at the hands of her partner.
The episode featured interviews with Miss Bellis, her mother and a close friend about the attack and the aftermath.
Lowestoft man Anthony Riley, Miss Bellis' ex-boyfriend was jailed for life for arranging the attack.
He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm, conspiracy to apply a corrosive liquid and false imprisonment during a trial at Ipswich Crown Court in October 2015.
Further details were laid bare in a hard-hitting book written by Miss Bellis about the attack, what caused it and how she has dealt with being scarred for life.
Titled Brave, the book was part of her goal to thwart her attackers' attempts to ruin her life and turn what happened into a positive – by giving others who may be in abusive relationships an inspiring message of hope.
