Police in Norwich have urged banks and businesses to be vigilant after the discovery of a skimming device on a city cash machine.
A man is believed to have placed a device into the machine outside Tesco Express in Plumstead Road at around 4am on Wednesday.
Police were alerted after staff discovered the device.
The man, believed to be Eastern European, was described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build and wearing a black top, bottoms and a black baseball cap.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who believes they recognise the description of the man. They have also warned other businesses and banks to be wary and to contact the police immediately should they suspect a cash machine has been targeted.
