Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop collision in which a three-year-old boy suffered a broken leg.

It happened at about 10.30am on Thursday, January 19, in the car park at Tesco at Hardwick, King's Lynn, near the parent and toddler bays.

A boy was hit by a passing 4x4, described as being dark coloured, and the driver failed to stop at the scene.

The boy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn for treatment to a broken leg, and has since been discharged.

Police are keen to trace the driver of the 4x4 and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information concerning the driver.
