A fundraising page which was set up to raise money for the funeral of Kerri McAuley, who was found dead in Norwich, has now reached more than £11,500.
The JustGiving page is aiming to raise £5,000 to cover the costs of the funeral and headstone of the mother of two whose body was discovered at her Southalls Way home on Sunday, January 8.
But the page, which was set up by friends Kendall Jarrett and Laura A'dore, had by this morning s now raised £11,610.
Miss Jarrett posted a message of thank you on the page earlier this month.
It said: 'Wow over £10,500!!!! You guys really are amazing! Keep plugging it, share it.
'There is nothing else we can do for her boys than to give them the best life possible without their mum.'
• A man charged with the murder of Kerri McAuley is expected to stand trial later this year.
Joe Storey, 26, of Murrells Court, St John Street, Norwich, who is believed to be Ms McAuley's former partner, appeared at Norwich Crown Court last month via video link from HMP Norwich after being charged with her murder.
Storey, who wore a grey tracksuit, spoke only to confirm his details during the short timetable-setting hearing.
Storey will next appear at crown court on March 21 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
A provisional trial date of June 5 was also pencilled in.
