A 53-year-old woman from Thorpe St Andrew has been jailed for 26 weeks after breaching a criminal behaviour order.
Anne Egglestone, of Spinney Close, was sentenced at Norwich Magistrates Court today for four public order offences which included being verbally abusive towards a neighbour and their builder in July.
Egglestone has also repeatedly contacted the police contact and control room making unnecessary, rude and obstructive calls to staff.
This occurred seven times in just 30 minutes on November 24 2016 and a further 11 times. The calls were a direct breach of a Criminal Behaviour Order she was given in April 2016 for similar offending.
Thorpe St Andrew beat manager PC Sean Phillips said Egglestone 'has received repeated warnings which she has chosen to ignore'.
'This result goes to show the courts and the police treat this type of anti-social behaviour with the utmost seriousness.'
