A man who had to be sat on to be kept under control during an arrest for shoplifting is still in custody.
The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested amid dramatic scenes in Regent Road, Great Yarmouth, on Tuesday at around 5.30pm.
Four police officers were called to the scene after the man was caught by security guards in Poundstretcher.
The officers wrestled with the man outside the store, with a crowd quickly gathering.
He was eventually taken away in a riot van to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre where he remains in custody.
A police spokesman confirmed he had been arrested on suspicion of theft from a shop.
