If you've been to Sunny Hunny this weekend, do you wish you could have caught the train?
While there are currently no plans to restore the railway line which once ran from King's Lynn to Hunstanton, there's certainly a demand for it.
For a petition launched two weeks ago calling for the route to be restored now has more than 1,000 signatures, while more than 90pc of people who responded to a poll on this website also backed the move.
MORE - Should the rail link from King's Lynn to Hunstanton be restored?Comments left by people signing the petition include: Sharron Broad: 'Families love a train journey. Families love the seaside. Improving journeys can only be good. The queues at peak times a awful. Bring back the train line.'
Anne Platton: 'What a wonderful idea, would help with Tourism and also the dreadful holiday traffic on the A149 not just summer time but any sunny day and cut down on accidents.'
Lynne Houchen: 'While I realise it may not be possible to reinstate the train line exactly where it used to be I feel a train service would benefit road users as there is way too much traffic on the A149 especially in the summer. I'm sure it would be very well used.'
Karen Payne: 'I have always felt Hunstanton would thrive with a railway line from Kings Lynn. I also think it would help Lynn itself, which I see turning into a ghost of a town. More people would be stopping at Lynn to travel to Hunny via the train from Kings Cross and if we had a park and ride system in place, it would reduce the congestion on the A149, Heacham would benefit especially as the new roundabout has reduced the bus services coming through the village.'
Joanne Jutsum: I'm a local resident and I can honestly say it's a nightmare trying to leave the village of Heacham to do normal things like go to the tip. It's two miles away and it took me nearly an hour. The queues are often eight miles long getting into the area. How damaging is this to the environment? It's such a waste of energy, time, money. The Wisbech line is being reinstated. Our needs are even higher. We need this!'
