A town drug dealer has been jailed for more than five years after pleading guilty.
Michael Bassett, 34, of Elm Road, Thetford, pleaded guilty to one count of supplying a class B controlled drug.
Officers arrested him on the A11 in April on suspicion of bringing large amounts of cannabis from Essex to the Breckland area.
He was also charged with driving without insurance, driving without a valid licence and failing to provide one.
He was sentenced yesterday at Norwich Crown Court to five years and three months in prison.
