The couple behind a mobile dessert business have purchased a second horsebox to meet demand.

Emma and Mark King, who live in Thorpe St Andrew, started Mary's Kitchen in 2021 and they bought a vintage horsebox.

It is named after Mrs King's mum who taught her to bake and passed away 12 years ago.

They cater for weddings and other events and the offering includes afternoon tea.

They later launched a second business called Heavenly Crumbles, taking the same horsebox to various events across the region.

Customers can build their own fruit crumbles and a vegan version is also available with a Biscoff topping.

Due to its success, they recently purchased a second horsebox.

The original one is nicknamed Mabel after Mrs King's grandma and the new one Norah after someone who was "like a grandma" to her.

Mrs King said: "We were getting asked to do so many events so we needed a second horsebox.

"We have lots of events booked for 2025 including weddings, parties and farmers' markets.

"I love working with local venues and there is such a great sense of community with the other traders."

Upcoming Heavenly Crumbles events include weekends until Christmas at Elveden Courtyard and Wroxham Barns' New Year's Eve fireworks.
