A woman who was considered "too frail" for treatment of her cancer died at home last month.
Wendy Garrod, who was born on July 11, 1945 in Rocklands and lived in Sandy Lane, Attleborough died at her home on November 18 this year.
An inquest opened into the death of the 79-year-old by area coroner, Samantha Goward at Norfolk Coroner's Court.
She said: "The circumstances of death was that Ms Garrod was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma - a cancer of the tissue around the lung, chest and abdomen - in June 2024.

"She developed a profusion which was aspirated in June, but became much larger in the month leading up to her death.
"It needed to be drained again but Ms Garrod was considered too frail, so she was provided with palliative treatment."
A doctor's report gave the medical cause of death as malignant mesothelioma.
Reports have been requested from Ms Garrod's GP, next of kin and the HMRC, before a full inquest takes place on January 16, 2025.
