A Mundesley pub has been refused retrospective permission for its bin shelter by a council.
The plans for the bin at The Ship have been refused by North Norfolk District Council "essentially because of its size, form and design and its upfront position on site".
A planning document states: "This is a small fence and slatted roof around bins and has already been done."
The description of change of use states the store is "a slatted wooden fence and lid surrounding the bins".

Norfolk County Council's highways response also commented on the fact that "the structure not only reduces visibility from the property access but is of a height that it can neither be seen over from a driver’s perspective".
Locals have commented that they would rather look at the shelter than a row of bins.
The failed retrospective plans were lodged with North Norfolk District Council by owners of The Ship.
