A man has been banned from the busiest areas of two seaside towns following a spate of anti-social behaviour.
David Steventon, of no fixed address, has been banned from Great Yarmouth town centre and Gorleston High Street until November 6, 2025.
The ban comes after the 57-year-old took part in anti-social behaviour outside a Sports Direct store in Great Yarmouth and a Boots shop in Gorleston.
Both businesses and members of the public complained about his actions which led to Great Yarmouth Borough Council pursuing the man in court.

After failing to attend his hearing, Steventon's behaviour was found to breach Section One of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act of 2014 and the ban was then imposed.
Steventon was also barred from Kitchener Road Cemetery in Great Yarmouth and will only be able to enter the town centre or Gorleston High Street to access support services.
A spokesman for Great Yarmouth Borough Council said: ‘’Over a considerable period of time, officers and the outreach team had worked hard with support agencies and police to try to engage with the defendant.
‘’However, our efforts proved unsuccessful and court action became necessary as a last resort.
‘’When people’s behaviour has a negative impact on the public and businesses we will take the necessary legal action to prevent it.’’
