Police have launched an investigation after a man's body was found by the side of the A47.
The grim discovery was made on the outskirts of King's Lynn, between the Pullover and Shoreboat roundabouts, at around 9.22am.
It is thought the body could have been there for several hours and police have asked if anyone saw a man walking along the road at around 2am.
The A47 remained closed throughout the day until about 5pm while investigations were carried out.
The man, in his 20s, has been identified and his next of kin have been informed.
Officers are treating his death as unexplained and are trying to establish the circumstances.
They would like to speak to anyone who may have any information or relevant dashcam footage.
