A man has been jailed after driving at a police officer in a supermarket car park.
The incident happened in the Tesco Express car park in Hollingsworth Road, Lowestoft, on May 31 when Kyle Jacobs, of no fixed address, drove at a police officer.
The officer, who was attempting to arrest Jacobs for failing to appear in court, was then forced to jump to safety to avoid being hit by the vehicle.

The 25-year-old was sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on November 26 where he was jailed for three months for driving at a police officer and another 16 months for a dangerous driving charge.
His sentence was then tied in with other admitted drugs and criminal damage offences making his final jail term a total of 26 months.
Jacobs was also disqualified from driving for 33 months and will have to pay a victim surcharge of £190.
