One of the nation's best-loved sitcoms has been adapted into a stage show and it is heading to Norwich on tour.
Fawlty Towers was written by John Cleese and Connie Booth and it ran for two series in the 70s.
Set in Torquay, Cleese starred as the rude hotelier Basil Fawlty and it followed him and his bossy wife Sybil (Prunella Scales) as they encountered eccentric guests and found themselves in farcical situations.
The Monty Python star adapted the classic sitcom into a stage play and it is currently running at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End.

It is based on three of the original BBC episodes and all the endings are brought together in a new finale.
It has now been announced that following its West End run, the show is heading on a major UK and Ireland tour in 2025 and 2026.
This includes shows at Norwich Theatre Royal from June 9 to 13 2026, with tickets going on sale soon.
Cleese said: “When we came up with the idea of bringing Fawlty Towers to the stage, I never thought it would get the reception that it has.
"The announcement of the tour means many more people will now have the chance to laugh themselves helpless.”
Casting is yet to be announced for the UK and Ireland tour.
