A sister title of the Eastern Daily Press and East Anglian Daily Times has partnered with one of the UK's leading offshore wind events.
Insight Energy magazine will serve as a media partner for Offshore Wind Connections (OWC), a two-day event taking place in Hull from April 30 to May 1, 2025.
Now in its 12th year, the event will offer invaluable insights and networking opportunities for both established companies and those looking to break into or expand within the offshore wind sector.
OWC2025 starts on the evening of April 30 with opening remarks from high-profile guest speakers, followed by the RenewableUK Connect networking event.
The exhibition hall will also be open, allowing delegates to meet other companies from across the industry.
Day two will include presentations, expert discussions and networking opportunities featuring leaders from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), government bodies, manufacturers, port operators, vessel owners, and operations and maintenance service providers.
The event will be hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton in Hull, as the Humber region continues to enjoy significant offshore wind development.
OWC2025 will be followed by the The Humber Renewables Awards and Gala Dinner on the evening of May 1.
“We are very pleased to welcome Insight Energy as a media partner as it will assist in us reaching the East Anglia region which is another important hub in the UK offshore wind market,” said Iain Butterworth, chair of Humber Marine and Renewables, which organises OWC2025.
“We are excited about OWC2025 and also delighted to be running the Humber Renewables Awards and Gala Dinner again, which provides a fitting conclusion to the conference by celebrating the innovation, successes and talent in the renewables sector.”
Steve Maddams, energy brand specialist at LOCALiQ, publisher of Insight Energy, said: “The Humber region has established itself as a prominent region for offshore energy in recent years, and we are excited to add OWC2025 to our media partnership portfolio.”
