Plans have emerged for the next phase of development at a former city golf course.
The designs for the next 400 homes at the former site of the Royal Norwich Golf Course in Hellesdon have been submitted to Broadland District Council.
This is part of the next stage of development at White Rose Park and will be built to the south of Drayton High Road.
A community centre will also be built in the heart of the estate during this phase of the building work, behind a large area of sports pitches.
Houses in a range of sizes will be built, from one-bed flats to five-bed homes.
Two main entrances will run into the estate. One will emerge from Drayton High Road, and the other from Hospital Lane to the north of the site, near the Hellesdon Hospital.
Large parts of the site will remain as open, natural spaces, with many of the existing trees kept in place.
A spokesman for Persimmon Homes said: “Persimmon Homes Anglia has submitted reserved matters applications to Broadland District Council for phases four, five and six of the White Rose Park development at the former Royal Norwich Golf Club.
"The phase four application includes 87 new homes, while phases five and six cover 313 homes. Both applications cover associated infrastructure and earthworks. A third reserved matters application has been submitted for the community building.
"In addition, a Section 73 application has been submitted to vary the existing planning consent by updating the phasing plan and masterplan for the wider site.

"Persimmon Homes will be consulting on plans in the coming weeks."
Initial plans to build up to 1,000 homes in the former home of the Royal Norwich Golf Club first emerged in 2015.
These were then approved in December 2016, and work began shortly after.
