The winners of the East Anglian Maritime Awards have been announced.
The awards, which celebrate the contributions of young people to the maritime and leisure marine sector, concluded their second year with ceremonies in Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex.
The awards recognised young individuals who participated in voyages organised by the Excelsior Trust in the Tall Ships Races.
Despite starting with no sailing experience, their eagerness to learn and willingness to help others impressed the judges.
The Norfolk awards ceremony took place at the Norfolk Broads Yacht Club in Wroxham, where Vice-Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk, Michael Gurney, presented certificates and prizes to 15 nominees.

Christopher Dicker, one of the organisers of the scheme, said: "This year we received some exceptional nominations which demonstrated the amazing achievements of the young people we have in Norfolk and the volunteers who make such a difference to the lives of those wishing to experience opportunities in maritime activities.
"The awards recognise the incredible work young people are doing in the maritime industry from skilful sailors to those making a career in boatbuilding."
Launched in 2023, the East Anglian Maritime Awards aim to celebrate young people’s participation in seafaring and boating, with the hope of increasing marine skills in the region.
The 2025 campaign will be launched next year, with nominations expected to open in June.
