A town's highly-anticipated Christmas lights switch-on has been cancelled amid high winds caused by Storm Bert.
The festive event in King's Lynn was meant to take place at 5pm this evening in the Tuesday Market Place.
But now a spokesman for the switch-on has confirmed that the celebration has been cancelled "due to the current yellow weather warning and strong windy conditions."

The Soul Sisters, the St Martha’s School Choir, Simon Rowe from Radio West Norfolk and Vex were all set to perform sets of festive favourites at the event.
A lantern parade and a meet and greet with Cinderella from the Corn Exchange's latest pantomime were also planned.
Town mayor Paul Bland and Cinderella would have then switched on the lights come 5pm.
A spokesman for King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council added: "The activities planned for The Place organised by Discover King's Lynn & Vancouver Quarter are also cancelled today."
It has not yet been announced if the event will be rescheduled.
