Three people arrested after a woman suffered serious injuries following a fall from a first-floor flat in Norwich will face "no further action", it has emerged.

A man in his 50s, a woman in her 40s and another woman in her 50s had been arrested as part of a police investigation.

The woman, in her 40s, fell from a flat in Johnson Place, near Vauxhall Street, at around 9.45am on September 10 last year.

Those arrested, initially on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH), had been re-bailed until earlier this year as the police probe continued.

But a spokesman for Norfolk Constabulary has confirmed "no further action" will be taken against them.

The police added: “Inquiries found no evidence a crime had been committed.”
