A festive evening at the Royal Arcade treated Eastern Daily Press and Norfolk Magazine subscribers to an exclusive VIP event.
The magical Christmas shopping event, held on November 21, brought festive cheer to the heart of Norwich.
From 6pm to 9pm, visitors enjoyed an evening filled with shopping, treats, and entertainment, all while celebrating local businesses and raising funds for a good cause.
The free-to-attend event featured delicious seasonal delights including mince pies, mulled wine and fizz provided by the Arcade’s shops.
Two lucky subscribers also walked away with £100 gift cards to spend at the Royal Arcade.
The event also supported local charity The Feed, and their popular human fruit machine brought laughter and helped raise funds and awareness for their vital work in the community.
Suzanne White, the director of JUNI & CO, said: "The event was great fun with music, lights and a real Christmas buzz .
"We introduced lots of new people to our shop as well as welcoming our loyal regulars with a glass of Prosecco.
"One of the EDP competition winners chose to buy Christmas gift sets from us with her vouchers, so that was so really nice for her and us."
Adding to the festive spirit, there were live performances by artists including singers Heidi Marie Smith and Jasmine Pearce and saxophonist Alex Rimell.
The evening highlighted the importance of shopping local and showcased the unique and diverse offerings of the Royal Arcade.
EDP editor Richard Porritt said: "What a great evening we had in the Royal Arcade meeting subscribers - as well as enjoy a glorious piece of cake.
"I am delighted the Eastern Daily Press and Norfolk Magazine could be involved in this event which I hope started Christmas with a bang for the stores in the arcade."
Susan Blackler, a senior designer at Sonkai Bespoke Jewellers, added: “We thought it was a really great success with an amazing turn out given the freezing weather!
"It was especially good for us to see lots of new faces.”
