A police car in a seaside town has come face to face with a flashy cousin from across the pond.
The familiarly checkered yellow and blue Lowestoft police car crossed paths with the American-style cruiser in a car park.
That is when the owner of the "impressive" vehicle - originally from East Rutherford, New Jersey - offered an officer to get behind the wheel of the out-of-place car for a photo shoot.
The cruiser harkens back to big-budget action blockbusters and high-speed Hollywood chase scenes with its black and white body and red siren.

The two drastically different cars even did a side-by-side comparison.
A spokesman for Lowestoft Police said: "This was a great opportunity to see how policing styles and cars differ across the pond. How cool!"
