Youngsters from across Norfolk have united for an anti-bullying event.
The annual Norfolk Youth Against Bullying Conference (NYAB), saw young people leading workshops and training sessions for their peers.
This year’s theme was cyberbullying, with guest speakers from Norfolk Constabulary and Three Dads Walking, a suicide prevention charity.
Aimed at those aged 12 and over, the event, on November 14, addressed the common experiences of bullying victims, offering strategies for prevention and self-advocacy.
In previous years, the NYAB conference has tackled issues such as neurodiversity, police responsibility, LGBTQ+ identities, and racism.
A spokesman said: "NYAB is a perfect forum for young people to talk openly about their experiences and learn self-advocacy skills."
The event, which takes place at the Charles Burrell Centre in Thetford, also invited teachers and public sector professionals to participate and share their insights.
Organisers hope the conference empowers young attendees to stand up to all forms of bullying, fostering a community of support and understanding.
The event ran from 9.30am to 4.30pm, providing a full day of guidance and support for those affected by bullying.
