The opening date of a new independent pharmacy on the edge of the city has been announced.

Bowthorpe Pharmacy is set to welcome its first customers at the Wendene shopping centre, off Bowthorpe Hall Road toward the end of the week.

A sign was originally spotted in the windows reading "We're moving in soon", with owner Prabodh Devlukia confirming the new site will open at the end of October.
