Two brothers from Norwich have embarked on a new business venture with the aim of helping people to part with their unwanted tech in return for some extra cash before Christmas.

Alex and Myles Wheeler have launched PCIFIC - an online marketplace where people can buy and sell their old PCs and tech.

The platform is different to other online marketplaces as it is free for people and businesses to sell their items, allowing them to keep 100pc of their earnings.

Alex, who has experience running online marketplaces for businesses, and web developer Myles have funded the start-up themselves, working their full-time jobs alongside the new business.

"We want to push environmental sustainability through upcycling. It keeps tech in circulation and people can make a bit of money on the side as well.

"It's a tough times for a lot of people, so if people have some old tech lying around that they want to sell they can make a few quid."

"We're super close and we've always been very ambitious," Alex added.

"I came up with the idea three years ago. I've always been quite entrepreneurial and I've had a couple of start-ups before.
