A jury hearing the inquest of a father-of-three killed in a high speed bike crash at a Norfolk airfield will be shown video footage of the moments leading up to the tragedy.
Military veteran Martin McConnell died in July 2023 during a speed event held at Tibenham Airfield. He was 58 years old.
Mr McConnell was participating in the event, which saw members of the public attempt to reach speeds of 200mph, when his motorcycle left the runway and crashed.
An inquest into the tragic incident will be held over the course of five days next year.
Heard in front of a jury, the inquest will investigate the circumstances leading up to Mr McConnell's death on July 23 - including examining witness accounts from organisers, marshals and medics involved in the event.
And during a pre-inquest hearing, it was agreed that jurors will also be shown video footage from the event.
The inquest will be shown drone footage showing the layout of the airfield during the event and dashcam footage taken from another vehicle which was present.
At a previous hearing, senior coroner Jacqueline Lake said she would consider admitting the footage into evidence.
And during the latest court hearing, it was agreed extracts would be used after Mr McConnell's children said they would favour the move.
Chelsea McConnell, one of his daughters, said: "I think it is better if they [the jury] can see what happened."
Mrs Lake said the jury would be shown extracts from the footage - but that it would be edited to remove overly sensitive and graphic sections.
Meanwhile, the court heard that Mr McConnell, who lived in Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, had died of traumatic injuries to his chest and abdomen.
The full inquest into his death is scheduled to take place during the week of January 20.
