An investigation is continuing into the death of Norwich woman Madelaine Coutinho, who died at home aged 34.

Ms Coutinho worked as a PA and farm administrator for the Crown Point Estate, which is owned by the Colman family.

She died at her Golden Triangle home on May 11 this year and an inquest opened into her death almost three weeks later.

During the short hearing at Norfolk Coroner's Court, senior coroner Jacqueline Lake confirmed that Ms Coutinho worked as a personal assistant, was born in Norwich and lived in Cambridge Street.

Mrs Lake said the provisional cause of Ms Coutinho's death was hanging - and adjourned the case.

A pre-inquest review (PIR) hearing was held at the court on Monday.

Mrs Lake said: “I understand this death is still being investigated. I therefore adjourned to a further pre-inquest review.”

A further mention will take place on June 2, 2025.
