A popular NR3 brunch spot that closed last month will soon reopen with a new name, menu and opening hours.

The Hashery, formerly located in St Augustine's Street, shut in late October with a farewell party as owners Helen and Steve "celebrated its life and death".

At first it was believed to be the end for the Hashery, which had been serving customers for nearly two years, but plans are in the works to reopen the eatery under a new name.

The proposed hours are 10am to 3pm Tuesday to Thursday - then on Friday and Saturday it will be open 10am to 3pm and 5.30pm to 10pm.

There will be recorded music played through two Bluetooth speakers and a policy which will prevent large groups such as hen and stag parties from gathering inside.

A reopening date will be announced shortly.
