A new garden area could be unveiled in a town park.
Residents meetings are being held this week as views and ideas are sought for the design of a new garden area.
Described as an "exciting opportunity" for people living in Gunton, north Lowestoft "something new for everyone to enjoy within your local park" is being proposed.
Lowestoft Town Council is working with The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) and East Suffolk Communities Team as thoughts are sought for the design of a new garden area within Gunton Community Park, near Montgomery Avenue.
And as part of this, two events will be held at Gunton Estate Community Hall this week.
An East Suffolk Communities Team spokesman said: "Exciting opportunity for residents living in Gunton - come along to our residents meeting to get your thoughts/ideas on Gunton Community Park, garden area.
"From design to delivery, members of the local community will be involved in deciding what happens on the site - would you like to be one of them?"
A TCV spokesman added: "Together we can create something new for everyone to enjoy within YOUR local park.
"What features would you like to see?"
Events take place at Gunton Estate Community Hall on Tuesday, November 19 from 8.15pm to 9.30pm and on Wednesday, November 20 from 6pm to 7pm.
