Plans for seven new homes in a Norfolk village have been given the nod despite objections.
A developer named as J Mallott in council planning papers has been given outline planning permission to build on land at Terrington St John, near King's Lynn.
A planning statement says existing outbuildings at No 53, Old Church Road, would be demolished to "provide a residential development with adequate parking, turning and amenity space".
Six villagers objected with one saying Terrington did not need any more homes and another describing the proposals as "overbearing and crowded".

Terrington Parish Council said it supports the plan but would like the properties to be "starter homes".
It added it would like to see improvements made to the junction of Old Church Road and Main Road before work begins on the site.
Plans for a single house on the site were turned down in 1998 and dismissed on appeal the following year.
