A Norfolk village may be set for a new dog walking field.

PW & AP Alden has applied to South Norfolk Council to change the use of agricultural land to a secure dog exercise field in Waterheath Road, Aldeby.

The proposal includes a two-metre fence and a new parking area.

The applicant proposes four new car parking spaces and for it to be used between 5am to 9pm every day, including bank holidays.

Alex Grimmer, on behalf of the environmental quality team, holds no objection to the application but suggests conditions.

These include no external lighting unless approved and no more than six dogs on site at any one time.

Mr Grimmer also suggested an amendment to the hours that the field is open to customers, with it open 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, and 8am to 8pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
