A motorcyclist who died following a crash on a busy west Norfolk road has been named.
Jay Tipple died at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, on June 10 this year. He was 50 years old.
An inquest opened into his death at Norfolk Coroner's Court, during which it was confirmed he had died as a result of injuries suffered in the incident.
The crash happened on the B1454 on June 9, when a black Triumph motorcycle being ridden by Mr Tipple left the road near the village of Syderstone, near Fakenham.
He had been travelling in the direction of Docking at the time.
He was taken via air ambulance to the hospital's specialist trauma unit, but died as a result of a hypoxic brain injury the following day.
During a short hearing at the court, area coroner Samantha Goward confirmed that Mr Tipple was born in West Runton, near Sheringham, and lived in North Elmham, near Dereham.
He was employed as a plumbing and heating engineer.
Mrs Goward adjourned the case until March 27 next year.
