An EastEnders star soaked up the atmosphere at Norwich Market during his visit to the city this week.
Max Bowden, best known for playing Ben Mitchell in the BBC soap, is currently touring the country with Birdsong.
Adapted from Sebastian Faulks' bestselling 1993 novel, it tells the story of one man’s journey through an all-consuming love affair and into the horror of the First World War.
It is being performed at Norwich Theatre Royal until Saturday, November 16 and Bowden stars as Jack Firebrace.

On Wednesday afternoon, he visited Norwich Market and his co-star James Findlay, who plays Brennan, gave locals a musical treat.
They sat on the benches at the top of the market and Findlay played the accordion, with a video posted to Bowden's Instagram story showing two people dancing along.
He captioned it: "James Findlay leaves Norwich wanting more. I've always admired how he makes friends."
