Plans have been revealed for a village development including two first time buyer homes and an affordable rented property.

A developer named in planning papers as Mr Hurn has applied for planning permission for four new properties at Terrington St Clement, near King's Lynn.

They include three market sale homes, two of which will cost less than £250,000 meaning they are classed as suitable for first time buyers and an affordable rented property on land off Popes Lane.

A planning statement says first time buyer homes are "in short supply" across Norfolk and  "even more scarce" in Terrington.

It adds: "A small development of four properties would be beneficial to local trades and businesses as tradesmen would not be contracted in from further afield unlike larger developments where bids for work would come in from neighbouring counties."

The application also includes outline permission for a further self-build home on the site.
